Tim Ciotti – CEO/President

Tim Ciotti, the driving force behind Thomas Richards Charity (TRC), and a true entrepreneur with a heart of gold. Tim’s journey with TRC began in 2005 when he sought a meaningful way to honor our dear friend, Matt Moscato. His innate ability to bring people together and turn a simple idea into a profound charitable organization is a testament to his leadership and passion.

In Tim’s own words, the inspiration for TRC came from a desire to honor Matt’s memory in a way that reflected his multifaceted personality. A golf outing, an event that showcased Matt’s lack of skill but abundant joy, became the foundation for TRC’s inception in 2008. From there, the charity evolved, officially becoming a 501(c)(3) non-profit on March 21, 2011.

Tim’s dedication to TRC goes beyond just a charitable venture; it’s a personal mission to keep Matt Moscato alive within him and spread love to others through Matt’s legacy. Since day one, Tim has been an integral part of TRC, and his commitment to the cause is unwavering.

What does Tim love about being part of TRC? It’s the community that has grown around TRC, fueled by sponsors who share a genuine love for Matt and the community. Tim finds joy in helping people, and through TRC, he has been able to make a significant impact on numerous lives.

One of Tim’s favorite memories involves the diverse ways TRC has touched lives – from physically building a handicap bathroom for a 9-year-old boy to purchasing a service dog for a little girl who lost her leg. Tim’s involvement in cleaning up a veteran’s yard with the TRC Board, supporting special needs children by sending them to Camp Barnabas, and numerous other acts of kindness all hold a special place in his heart.

Thank you, Tim, for your visionary leadership, unwavering commitment, and the love you pour into TRC. Your ability to turn a golf outing into a force for good is truly inspiring.

Eric Weeks -Vice Chair/ Vice President/ Strategy and People

We are delighted to shine the spotlight on Eric Weeks, an integral part of Thomas Richards Charity (TRC). His journey with TRC began in 2008 when he was invited by Tim Ciotti and Mike Moscato to be a thought partner in its creation. Eric played a pivotal role in drafting articles of incorporation, supporting the vision of TRC, and serving as Treasurer on the Board of Directors.

Today, Eric holds the esteemed positions of Vice Chairman, Board of Directors, and Vice President, Strategy and People. His dedication to building teams, developing organizational capabilities, and helping others echoes through the heart of TRC. Looking back, Eric reflects on the pride he feels for the collective efforts of TRC’s organization, donors, sponsors, business partners, stakeholders, and volunteers who consistently come together to make a positive impact on the community.

A significant source of pride for Eric is the cohesion within TRC’s leadership teams, especially the advisory board, whose outstanding work is the backbone of TRC’s community contributions. TRC has successfully honored friends and family, supported students, promoted positive health outcomes, and uplifted the underserved, showcasing the organization’s commitment to its core values: Service, Compassion, Inspire, Inclusion, and Kindness.

For Eric, being part of TRC is not just about philanthropy; it’s a profound and meaningful experience shared with a remarkable group of friends from various stages of life. This journey instills a genuine sense of belonging and gratitude, making the work with TRC truly extraordinary.

Kathie Diekman Treasurer/ Golf Committee

Kathie’s journey with Thomas Richards Charity began with a simple act of kindness – volunteering to sell T-shirts at the Matt Moscato Charity Golf event in 2012. Little did she know, this would mark the beginning of her inspiring journey with us.

From Co-Secretary to her current role as Treasurer, Kathie has been an integral part of our team, bringing dedication and passion to everything she does. Her commitment to our cause stems from a profound love for both the people involved and those we’ve had the privilege to help along the way.

As a mom, Kathie has witnessed firsthand the impact of our charity on her own family. Seeing her son and daughter participate in the golf outing, and now having her daughter join the planning committee, fills her heart with pride and joy.

One of Kathie’s fondest memories with TRC is a testament to the power of teamwork and compassion. Instead of simply hiring a service, TRC Volunteers came together themselves to help a disabled Veteran with yard work. The impact of this effort was not only visible in the transformed yard but also in the smile on the Veteran’s face.

Kathie, your unwavering dedication and kindness inspire us all. Thank you for being a driving force behind our mission. Together, we’re making a difference, one act of kindness at a time.

Ryenne Ritchie – Secretary/ Director of Golf

Inspired by her mom’s TRC stories, Ryenne joined at the young age of 11. Her favorite? The annual golf outing where our community unites to celebrate TRC values. She’s witnessed the power of community and the volunteer Board in action, shaping her dedication to TRC’s legacy.

For Ryenne, TRC isn’t just volunteering; it’s fulfilling a purpose and inspiring her generation to make a positive impact. Thank you, Ryenne, for being a beacon of light and embodying the spirit of community and compassion!
